60 Days Sober! Gratitude list
Today I am reflecting on 60 days ( in a row, no less) of abstinence from booze and use! I am truly grateful for the things that have come back into my life by being sober!
Here's a few;
Waking up without my first thoughts of who did I harm while intoxicated yesterday.
Grateful that my wife and kids smile again at me and the reflection of my daily despair I no longer see in their beautiful faces and eyes.
Early stages of truly beginning to understand who I am.
Grateful for starting to genuinely care about other people and engage in real conversations.
Experiencing grace in small things - making coffee for my wife, playing with my old yellow lab, catching fish in our small lake....
God's Grace!!
Living proof to those who would think it can't be done (if I can get to this short point, anyone can!)

Hmmmm, come to think of it I wouldn't have come close. Wonder If I hit even 10-12 all year???
