I will be okay

Everything will be fine. Grandma's back.

Talked to my therapist for a while today, he says I deal with my mom the wrong way.

Went for a walk in the park. Sat and had a coffee and an ice-cream cone. My friend says I need how to find happiness in small things again.

That's awesome, Tetra and I can certainly relate. My disease wants to rob me of the ability to enjoy life's simple pleasures. My Higher Power wants to restore me to living life to the fullest. I am in early sobriety so I'm not there yet, but I am holding on to the promise that things will get better and I will know true peace and serenity. Thanks for your post!

I had to go to the social welfare office today and I started chatting to the friendly guy waiting beside me and I said "so have you been unemployed for long" and he said "well I have been on disability for a while as I had a kidney transplant a couple of years ago".

Lesson learnt.
