Goodbye

I don't think I can hang out here if I can't express joy. I've been notified about links to try to help people and now my post is deleted. The first time since the 80s that I have had this happen.

Take care.

Not sure what has happened, but always sad to see a member go!!

As long as your links are within the Forum rules, they should be fine!!

This is a moderated site and sometimes stuff will be removed. Sometimes you won't agree with the decision.

That's a very small part of the community experience here.

I think you're overreacting a little Bob.
I hope you change your mind.

why not take a few moments alone with your thoughts before you react ?

if i dont get my way i can spit my dummy out and end up quiting things that i have enjoyed as my only form of protest but it only hurts me in the long run as i end up doing without something i have enjoyed

so why not just take some time to think here first before hitting the delete key ?

why not simply contact one of the forum mods and explain what the problem is ?

spitting dummies out of prams is no way forward to grow for any of us so i hope you think on
good luck to you what ever your decide to do

Hey Bob - Don't go vanishing on us Like Dee says, forums need to have rules to keep things in order for everyone and I'm sure no-one meant to upset or offend you, by deleting whatever it was

It's hard in the early days isn't it - so many emotions rushing through us Please stay

PS What's going on with us Brits? It's almost 2am and I see Ireland and Liverpool We're not used to this heat are we

It happens Bob, there are rules. I've had posts removed for various problems, and I've not taken offense. Personally, I think the moderators here do an excellent job of keeping things safe, civil and on-point. There's no reason to take your ball and run home. I think you know better than that (at least I hope you know better).

Just recently I had a wonderful meme of a Quacking duck removed by an anonymous moderator ( I suspect Dee). I had a chuckle about it too because I post that duck all the time on the F&F forum.
Shoot, if I left every time Dee removes one of my posts or sent me a pm asking me to be nicer, I would probably have broken the SR exit door by now.
Just stay and take it all in stride and good cheers.

Seeing as Bob's gone off line I think we'll leave it there.
