I can breathe!
The cardio benefits of quitting smoking are kick-ass. I never thought it was affecting my cardio too badly because I just smoked on and off. Man was I wrong!
After a week my swimming time has improved by ten seconds (50m).
But the best thing is that general sickly feeling I'd get while working out has gone, I can run around like a kid again! I may head in for tough mudder in a few months- that'll be one hell of a milestone.
Goodbye cigarettes, you pointless, addictive, grim tasting sticks of death.
