200 days
Ell today is day 200 without alcohol ! Longest in 30 years. Still a fight but one I can win. Had a dream two nights ago I started again, it was so real I woke and thought maybe I did. To all out there, you can do it, and it isn't easy but it IS worth the struggle .

Each day sober for us is a new record sober time. It's a great feeling for ones who spent much of their lives drinking.
For, we have escaped from the liquid devil.

Thank you all. When I get to thinking about a drink and that inner voice starts to tempt I get on here and look at posts and also reflect on how much better I feel. ChilledIce - How do you do it? there isn't one answer...day by day...and for me it is a matter of how I feel. We forget how crappy we feel when we're drinking. it's all about how you are going to get that next drink. for me I am very good at slipping away...get a few quick minis and pound them...then back with a buzz. Again, and again. Keep the fight going all...this site is about YOU...and we can all beat this.
