I'm trying to remember the name of a movie I've seen as being suggested on here about a couple in which either just the wife or both were alcoholics. I've seen advertisements for it too. It was pretty recently made with younger actors in the starring in it.

Any help?

Just looked up Smashed...looks like a good one. I'm going to get it too. I like Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad.

There are SO many good ones. Smashed and Days of Wine and Roses are excellent ones for couples to watch together. Factotum was a surprisingly good one too.

Smashed was great ..yup and I too loved the Days of Wine and Roses.
My mom mentioned it in my last sobriety ..so her and I rented it from Itunes. She said the first time she saw it in the theatre with a couple of her gf's in Toronto...they cried themselves into giant messes and felt like the small town girls they were in the big city.
Great flick...I get sad whenever I hear that old Andy Williams tune..

Flight - though very Hollywood-ish compared to smashed, I read an article that said both the writer and director are recovering alcoholics, which somehow made it better.
