Thanks Dee, im really hoping I can crack it this time, although my confidence is VERY shakey about sobriety because I have tried it SO many times!! I do not know what to do different this time, its all in my head, emotional pain that I now have to face sober!

I think, when you get down to it, you have to resolve not to use alcohol as a solution to any of those problems, chilledice.

If you need help with emotion pain think about Drs, therapists & counsellors...those are better healthier more effective solutions, I think?

Go for it, China!!

Well done on 6 days. It just gets better and better.

I'm a firm believer that it's mostly a "head" game. If your head is in the right space, you can achieve miracles.

Lots of water and the normal sleep patterns will return before you know it. I think a new dam was constructed based on my new water consumption. I just glug away at it all day.

All the very best,

Bruce.

Day 7 for me today. Probably my fourth serious attempt, I've done 7 and 3 months, and 6 weeks the last time over Christmas....
Think of how good you have felt when you quit last time, and keep busy, housework is good for me, takes your mind off the cravings and you have a feel good factor when your finished.
