Day 6 - withdrawal symptoms

Hi. I am on day 6 and I haven't had many cravings, but the headaches are killing me. Even with aspirin. I used to drink every day, so its no surprise. Is anyone feeling like this?

Yes. I'm on Day 5 and feel the same. And, simple decisions make my head hurt. Hope this fades soon.

Hi, you are right on track with where I was after the same time period, just try to drink more water, that really helped my headaches tremendously.

Well done again.

Headaches were pretty common for me. I still get them when I'm stressed; I don't have the alcohol anymore as a coping mechanism and I'm still trying to learn how to take care of myself Good for you on your 6 days!!

I'm not a Dr but this is pretty common sense advice that worked for me

Make sure you keep hydrated - and keep away from diuretics like coffee as much as possible.

If you're worried of course the best thing to do is see your Dr

I might suggest adding some Gatorade along with the water. Replace electrolytes.

I'm with Ruby, straight water can make it worse. Gatorade is awesome, as is about any fruit juice. Spicy V8 did wonders for me too.

Don't hesitate to talk to your Dr. either. My Dr. gave me some great nutritional advice after my blood work was done.
