The gift of no drinks today.
I have decided to give myself the gift of just not having a drink today. I read this philosophy a lot here, and I really think that one day at a time is the only way to go for me. I just keep telling myself that surely I can go just today without a drink. Up to my 3rd day so far, and am about to go out for a walk on the beach in the beautiful Gold Coast sunshine. Sure beats laying here with a filthy hangover. Thanks to ALL the posts on here, its very reassuring to feel like I am not alone in this.
