I'm so happy I've got this far. Made a birthday lunch for my sister. Everyone was drinking around me but I was ok. It seems to get a little easier each day. Any time I think of a drink I remind myself of the person I was when drinking. Depressed anxious unhealthy. I've also started exercising and dieting and have lost 2kgms in two weeks. I put on 20kgms in the last two years from drinking. Can't wait to get it off and be my normal self again. I like posting on this forum because it shows me how common addictions are. I hope I keep this positive attitude. I also live with mental illness and have had breast cancer twice which sometimes makes my mind go into dark places. I hope you are all keeping strong
