7 Months!
Wow! I am 7 months sober today! I am so grateful to be sober, it hasn’t been easy, actually it has been pretty hard but it has most certainly been worth the effort. Things in my life are not all sunshine and roses right now. But I am endlessly grateful that I am not drunk today. Being sober means noticing and doing so much more. All of my energy that was focused on drinking is now focused on living. My life and my relationships have never been stronger.
I am so glad that I don’t use alcohol as a method of coping any longer. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for the endless love, generosity, and support provided by everyone on this website. I am grateful that you reading this are in my life today, you have helped facilitate an ability to feel joy, love, pain, and life in a way I had forgotten was possible. I am grateful to still be here on this journey making the most of my life.
