Went to meeting and they announced a fellow member had passed away last night. I spoke to her few weeks ago and new she had been drinking, she left meeting half way through. She has left 2 little kids, she is at peace now and my prayers go out to her family. I feel sad but this is a reality so ugly evil

That's very sad, Liss. Not everyone wins the battle against their demons. Failure can cost you your life. Sobering indeed.

It is very sad. Concentrate all your energies on YOU getting sober. Do you have a plan? Look at doing something you've not done before-do whatever you need to do to get sober. It won't just happen without you

it is sad and one of the hardest things for me to accept is that it happens.
