Can't do this anymore
I seriously can't do this anymore. Emotionally or physically. I'm having symptoms of what I think is Angina... I need to quit. I can't check myself into rehab because I'm the sole caregiver for my Dad who is going on 88 and has dementia. I want to quit. I'm serious and I'm determined.
Is anyone willing to maybe be there for me for a few days so I can get a good grip on what I need to do?
I'm so dog tired.....just beat......

I would really encourage you to see a doctor as Dee suggested. This is very important you need to get this checked.
I hear you I was also mentally and physically exhausted by the end of my drinking.
Post here are much as you need to someone is always around and can offer support.
You don't have to do this alone.

There is always help available. Rehab may not be suitable at this time but talking openly with your doctor certainly is. Come here for support whenever needed. You'll find tons of useful info on here and it's extremely helpful to just spend a while reading other peoples stories.
Steph, you need to take care of YOU first, even if you have to find someone to help with your old man. Please take any hint of chest pain seriously and see a doctor immediately. Believe me, I've been there done that... angina, stents, heart bypass. The value of seeing a doc is that apart from having potentially life-saving treatment if you need it, you may have the converse scenario of being told your heart is absolutely fine, in which case you won't have the worry of thinking something's wrong.
hey steph.... a doctor, yes. Do that.
