Facing future, I am 31 days sober and it is still very hard but I found, reading, painting, being on this site as well as counseling and AA helps. I saw 5 beautiful cardinals on my bird feeder today up close and they reminded me how God makes such beautiful creatures and just looking at them for awhile made me realize we are all his creatures and he will take care of us through all if we are brave and trust in him. If we have no hope then we have despair, he gives us hope as we brave the unknown!
