Going crazy
Congrats on 53 days sober! You could be experiencing PAWS (post acute withdrawal syndrome). Google it for more info. It includes symptoms like your messed up thought processes, inability to focus, depression and anxiety, and so on. It will pass with more sober time.

Work issues Dee.
Job description is changing. Not sure about new job or it's prospects long term.
I could ask to be reassigned to another post in same organisation. No guarantees there either.
Information from management is woeful and not making process any easier.
I know what's wrong with me. I'm looking for certainty where there is none. I'm looking 5 years down the track and it's not healthy.
I know I should let it to god and what happens will happen.
Or should I use serenity prayer ' courage to change, wisdom to know'
I'm tempted to go with new job description.
Good choices to have I know but

Fear is a hard emotion to handle, for sure Finnie.
What I try to do is remember that I've faced change before and, as much as I've hated it at the time, I've come out ok - there's no reason why this time should be any different

It does sound like a stressful situation Finnie, and it's not surprising that it has you feeling upset.
I had a situation where I was looking for certainty in early recovery and it wasn't there, and I literally had to let go and allow life to happen. I simply didn't have the energy at the time, to fight it. And, not surprisingly, life went on and things worked out. It gave me confidence. And, getting through this work situation will give you confidence that you can deal with life and it's stresses.

Good decision Finnie. I just started my own business and have been scared as h*ll attempting it, but it is starting to turn out well and I am starting to enjoy it. Who knows what great things may lay ahead in your future?
Let go and let God. It will work out. Have faith.

Hi Finnie;
How did the job situation work out for you?
Are you feeling any better?
I was one of those it took months to clear the tiredness and fluxing emotions.
You aren't alone there. Hope things are getting better.
