Hello. New here. Looking for support. I dont live in the city and gas is expensive which has caused me to become very isolated. Social media has become my only contact with the outside world. I decided spending time here would be a better option. Thanks

Hi and welcome to a new life by just not picking up that first drink. There are some very good suggestions on this site to help us for the difficult moments if we follow them. AA helped me a lot by people who just said keep coming.

. Not that it matters, but alcohol isnt my thing. Gave that up 20 years ago. Other substances are my problem. Depression, isolation and using have taken a toll. Job and everything else is gone. Time for a change. I've had multiple years clean in the past. I relapsed. I do know what I need to do. My first step was coming here
