Sorry yesterday was tough but it's so great to hear you didn't drink!

Everytime we get through a rough day and stay sober that's power we can draw on later.

I agree that every day you don't drink it makes you stronger. I have been in several situations that I could have drank but I kept up my promise to stay sober. Each morning I woke up sober I felt a greater sense of purpose and power that comes from honoring your commitment.

Stay positive and active! We are all here for each other. You are doing great things....

Life is about ups and downs. The key is not to get to high up, and not to get to far down and to learn to deal with it. Thats just life, life happens. Its not going to be all peaches and cream forever and ever, thats insanity!!! I used to drink over anything and everything, that is how I dealt with life. I would drink because its sunny out, lost my license, got my license back, got a promotion, got fired, won the lottery, didnt win the lottery, got off on manslaughter charges, went to jail for tickets, someone looked at me wrong. ANYTHING. Thats what alcoholics do, we drink to change the way we feel.

Great work. Imagine how tough today would have been if you would have drank and not made the decision you did. Keep it up!

It's really hard to internalize the fact that drinking makes a bad day worse, not better.
