Raider

Feeling ok. Last night was the first night I didn't wake up drowning in sweat. Feel strangely calm right now, but mornings are normally ok. It's when night hits that the cravings come. Finally one therapist called yesterday. I did not connect with him. Anyone more concerned about what insurance I carry is a no go for me. I called another few yesterday but they were all closed until Monday. I'll try again then. Didn't know this would be so much of an issue.

Soooooo been thru a few day five's so not letting my guard down. I ask God, just for today please let this be a sober day for me.

Church tomorrow and then my friend Bob's funeral Monday. I took a chance and called Bob's son last night. He was so pleased!! I shared some experiences I had with Bob. Like Bob wouldn't have a coke unless I shared it with him and got him a big glass of ice. Like he hated me looking at my iPhone until I showed him the live video of young eagles, then he wouldn't put it down. Like the look on his face when I brought him fresh salmon from Alaska. Like his love for buttermilk doughnuts. Ahhhhhhhh. His son asked me to share some at the funeral. I will do that.
