I'm looking for a job and its stressing me out.

I haven't worked for some time due to my addiction and this process is rather depressing. I have a job coach whose pushing me to apply. I've revised my resume, etc. but for some reason its stressing me. I just want to get back into working slowly, may be part time or temp.

I think looking for a job is always stressful.

why not push on a little more, get the resumes out, and then you can relax a little until you get replies?

Job searching is always a stressful process, I think. I think it's a good idea to try to get back into the job market, and like you said, you could start part-time and see how things worked out.

Keep looking until you find something, even if it's not exactly what you want. Any job looks better on a resume than a blank space.

Hugs. I find job hunting one of the most stressing things for me. Putting myself on paper..ugh...

I put in my first application since leaving work last March the other day. It felt like an accomplishment to have filled it out and brought it in. It was satisfying to have set that goal and achieved it, and to have made it through the process unscathed even though I felt upset over it.

I am looking for part time as well.

I've been looking for work as well. On the days that I've engaged and applied for jobs and met with contacts etc. I feel optimistic. However, there are days that where I just can't pull it together. It's very stressful and it can be depressing. Just have to keep trying.
