Hello my friends. I woke up today with 22 day without drinking. I started out posting on here and reading for support and advice. I also started going to meetings on my third day without drinking. I have never left a meeting feeling worse than when I walked in. I have meet some amazing people and heard some amazing stories in the rooms. I never quite understood AA and how it works but now I have a good idea and have been going at least once a day. I have tons of numbers from people who want to help and found a sponsor yesterday. I was nervous walking in the first day but now three weeks later Im convinced its the best thing I could have done to get on the right path. Is awesome knowing there are forums like SR as well as meetings all over the country to help people like us get and stay sober!
