Ok so I just quit drinking at the end of November and I am realizing that my memory seems worse than when I was drinking. Of course other than the blackouts. But now just random things I am thinking of I cannot recall. It's kind of freaking me out.

It's very normal in early sobriety. I remember being quite emotional and foggy headed for a couple or three months, but it gradually gets better. Hang in there and congrats on your sober time! (((HUGS)))

Mine wasn't very good either for a couple of months. I would have good days and then days where I thought I was losing my mind. It all evens out eventually.

Thanks Inca and Suki! I find that most of the time when my husband and I are talking about basic things... things I really should know. so this should clear up eventually? now I think I should go get crossword puzzles to exercise my brain.
