First Sober New Year
So, I know this only my tenth day, but I can't help but celebrate the fact I turned down numerous parties and the urge to go buy a drink.
It's literally only 27 minutes past midnight, and I can't help but feel elated...
Not really any questions to this, just figured I can look back on it and be proud of myself...

Great job surviving all the parties and staying sober!
Enjoy you sobriety - it's really getting better!

It's the strangest thing: I have been looking at my hands and arms. I can see little veins in the palm of my hands, and i can see my tendons move when I type. I wonder if alcoholism bloats you somehow. I haven't really lost a ton of weight. (holiday eating probably) I look at my hands a lot during the day as I type all day at work.
