NEW CLEAN DATE 12/7/2013

Ha... you said 69!... Sorry, I'm a 14 year old trapped in a 50 year old's body. Welcome back! I hope you are thinking about what you are going to do differently this time! Congratulations on your sobriety!

Welcome BRUCE! Congratulations on 10 SOBER DAYS!

I turned sixty this year, and quit drinking for the thousandth time.

Haven't been sober for a full year since I was a teenager. Seems like I spent much of the last 40 years trying to drink my way back to those early years when drinking seemed to be fun.

Much of my drinking was done in La Porte and the surrounding area.

I had almost a year of sobriety in 2009. I moderated real good for several months and then was back to a twelve pack or more per day. Took me 3 1/2 years to quit again.

I'm not drinking today so I won't have a problem staying sober tomorrow.

Looking forward to reading some of the experience you can share about recovery.

What convinced you to relapse after three SOBER years, and then stop after a week?
