What kind of withdrawal symptons

What kind of withdrawal symptoms do you get and how do you deal/cope?
I get patches of hive type red spots that are super itchy

I would get hives also. and I wouldn't be able to sleep for days on end which made the healing process of my brain seem to take for ever. Anxiety was also a big one.

I never got hives, but I had tons of fitful sleep with sweats/chills/nightmares. Never want to go thru that again!!

Sweating, poor sleep, shaking, and the anxiety was a killer.

Sleepless or restless nights are the worst for me. I have .5 mg of Ativan I take when I have super anxiety or need to sleep. Usually gets me thru the first week then I don't want to take them anymore and eventually the cycle starts again...

All previous attempts I had terrible nightmares, would wake up in a pool of sweat. This time and I'm at 5 days I got nothing except of a bit of anxiety.

My recipe is on the other thread about herbal teas. All natural plants.
Not saying it will work for everyone, and this is not a medical advice, consult Doctor.

Ho and also, I think I am not fighting this time. It's just over in my head. I cannot control myself, the experiment is over, scientific data confirms my off switch is freakin broken. And that's all I have to say about that (Forest Gump)

I'm looking forward to a good nights sleep. I don't care if I wake up soaking wet, at least I know toxins are coming out. I got some good food in me today and have a small group training session tomorrow morning..one day at a time.

Good stuff MDW! Keep your eyes on the prize.
Last night I was able to sleep for 6 hours without waking up with my heart pounding waiting 3 hours to fall back asleep.

If that is the only thing sobriety gives me I take it!!
But there's more.. Waking up, remembering my evenings, no hang over, my health, the $$ I save. The list is limitless! Hang in there!

My problem hasn't been night sweats yet..I wake up absolutely freezing cold. I'm in sweat pants, long sleeve shirt, a fleece, snuggie and blanket. and it says it's 77 degrees in here

Anxiety worse than a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. Terrible sleep patterns; can't get to sleep, wake up every hour or so. Also have bad stomach problems, cramps and the like. Recently I've had chest pains which have scared me into sobriety again.

In the past I've had the odd panic attack but not had one in a while thank god.

For me it's anxiety and depression, nausea, lack of appetite, exhaustion but inability to sleep, cold sweats, shakes, my vision gets a little weird, like light and dark... Chills... Abnormal or overly strong heartbeat... Muscle spasms .... It's horrible... Just know they will end I suppose ... Mine are almost over ... It's been rough ... I feel your pain ... Hang in there ... I know from last time I detoxes that afterwards you feel great ! Keep it up

The usual anxiety, insomnia, sweats, shakes, stomach problems...

I also get very very spotty, blurred vision, memory problems, I think last time I went through a bit of psychosis too.

If I never get that anxiety again, i'll be a happy chap.

Erik's hit the nail on the head .. I had all of that , but the itchiness drove me mad ...mostly in my calves and once i started itching it was unbearable . Also on my tummy at times. Forgot about that symptom.
yet ANOTHER reason to not pick up the disgusting drink ever again

Today is only full day #3 and I'm thankful to have medication so fortunately the anxiety hasn't been much of a problem although I randomly burst into tears a few times yesterday. I feel extremely malnourished though and weak.
I do kind of feel like I'm nursing the worst cold/flu ever and all I can do is wait and fight it out.

When i would try to sleep, I would have nightmares of falling off something. Not a good feeling for someone that doesn't like heights

In the first week my withdrawal symptoms were everything in the book.

At day 26 I'm still dealing with headaches, mood swings, and lack of energy.
