You and me both, Butch! I am hitting ten years in February but I have a new sobriety date of 11-27 this year. Grr. If only I weren't so stubborn!

I also come here a lot. Great place to distract myself and maybe help someone else.

Do other things that don't involve drinking. Coming here, movies, dinner with people who don't drink.

Welcome Butch. What do we do on weekends? I myself am watching the Big 10 championship game, eating some tacos and working on editing hobby photography project. I think I'll watch a movie and then hit the sack, I get up early these days and the mornings are my favorite time of day to get things done. I think you will notice that during our drunk days, we passed off many little tasks as "insignificant", and if you start doing them now you will find it keeps you busy.

I enjoy mornings now my self, I do meetings everyday......my meetings are at 7am......but I also go to others during the day.....I have lost my house to my ex wife so puttering around the house is no longer....hopefully as I stay sober these things will come back
