I am where you are too... I almost lost my marriage because of my drinking and he is so hurt and angry that I may lose him yet. I think he has one foot out the door.

However, I am not quitting for him because I know that won't stick, and as others said, that places too much pressure on him. I am quitting for me, because if I don't, I will be in jail or dead and then I am no good to anyone, not my husband or my kids. Do your best to stay sober for yourself and hopefully she will see the change and stay.

All I can say is that if you have a second chance grab onto it and don't let go! The joy of being plastered is a pale shadow compared to the feeling of being loved.

Thanks CactusJill. It has been a rough stretch for us lately. I don't think she wants to be done with me. She is definitely done with my addiction.
