70 days sober today. Random thoughts on my recovery so far:

Thought I'd never make it this far.

Feel ****** somedays, happy, anxious, sad and pissed off some days. But I'm cool with that because if rather feel everything than nothing.

Drove past my old neighbourhood liquor store, and just noticed the fact that it doesn't bother me to drive past it. I didn't feel any desire or cravings attached to the sight of it. So that was cool ; )

I've felt foggy headed the last week or two... Finding it hard to concentrate.

Getting along better with the bf. he has also stopped using and drinking on his own accord and we are finally talking again, having real conversations, enjoying being around one another again.

Ordered a bracelet online with my sobriety date engraved on it, super excited for that to come in the mail.

Zoey09, 70 days is FANTASTIC. Congratulations. For a long period of time I wouldn't walk the isles in a supermarket that had wine and other liquors for fear of caving in. 3 years 3 months sober I don't notice those isles at all. But what I have noticed in the supermarket that I use the most is that the beer coolers are on the small wall as the milk, chess coolers and is twice as long. Rootin for ya.
