Jstar like Anna and Opivotal I had times when I would go to an event/occasion and not drink, then come home wild with anger and drink heavily. Like Anna found I currently stay away from events that I know will trigger me, I don't care if people are going to get annoyed with me because my sobriety matters more. I'm at six months, I don't know when I will be ready to go to some things but, in the meantime, I'm sober and living my life happily. Nothing is taking this away from me.
