Having some serious av popping in, telling me to have some vodka. Will you please tell it to shut up?

That voice has another motive in mind and it isn't sobriety. Tell it to "get lost". You can get through this bblackbirdflyy! One day you'll laugh at that voice.

Hang in there!

Is there something you can do to distract yourself? Can you pour out the vodka? Vodka was my DOC and I can tell you right now that there is no way in hell I could have that in my house without caving. I have zero alcohol in my house as I know that the beast will emerge and it will turn out to be a battle that I don't think I could win. Hell, just the "V" word makes my mouth water and that makes me sick. Please fight the fight! You are worth it.

Funny how I'd feel guilty dumping it but not feel guilty drinking it.

Tell your boyfriend to kindly remove it. You don't need it in the house. If you're anything like me, it will be calling out to you constantly. Surely your bf knows you are trying to stay sober, right? I bet he'll take it out of harm's way if you make the request. Your sobriety comes first.

What a relief. I was stressed out for you. I am glad it passed, but you sure are brave!

Oh, I think you would...wouldn't you?

I agree with others, it's best to remove it from your home.
Good luck!

Seriously....make where you live an alcohol-free zone. Get used to coming home and having no alcohol around. It does actually help when you are feeling squirelly...at least you know you are safe at home.

After a while that voice will start telling you it's afraid of drinking.
