Unknown meth use
My dad passed away suddenly last month at the age of 61. We just got the autopsy results back. The cause of death was listed as "acute reaction to meth".. I'm not sure what this means. He didn't show any signs of meth use. He has smoked pot since I can remember. Is there any way to find out if he's been doing meth fora long time?

How tragic! So sorry for your loss.
It is possible that his pot was laced with meth. It's also possible he has been doing meth for a long period of time. I guess I would ask the medical examiner that question.

Really sorry for your loss. It is possible it was laced but it's rare with weed as it's expensive. Also, if he was a regular smoker he'd know immediately if it was.

Its not a huge jump tho for someone who had been a pot smoker for as long as you can remember, to maybe have tried meth. Drug dealers are crafty salesman and I have been offered "samples" of other dope to lure me in.
However if you suspect fowl play I would contact the authorities.

Thank you all! The emts found a container of white powder next to his body which was also tested and determined to be meth.. I'm just so confused by it all! I was the only sibling not living with him so I didn't see him on a daily basis but I still think I would be able to tell if he was on something
