Thank you all for the kindness and love. Baby Jude was born yesterday around 8:30am after a 20 hour labor which we both handled fairly well considering I developed a high fever toward the end from an infection setting in after my water had broken much earlier. All things considered though, we are both fantastic! They brought the little guy to the nursery to do some monitoring and make sure he doesn't have an infection or any other issues related to that. I wish he was in my room right now but I know he's in good hands and I can walk to see him any time! He fed like a champ and fell asleep shortly after. We are tired (but its a good tired, mixed with elation and adoration for my little one!) so Im going to to do the same! Thanks again those that wished us well! I'm so happy to be a mom and sober. Such a good deal - God must have a lot of grace and mercy to get me here despite the person I was before. Either that or I got very lucky!
