So I just wanted to check in and say that I've been sober now for about 5 days or so. Not counting.

But it feels like a corner has been turned. I'm loving Jason Vale's book Kick the Drink - corny as the title is. Continually working on the AVRT/RR butt kicking of the Beast. Focusing on the sober, beautiful clarity of this complex and uneasy but wonderful life. Reading the posts here of all of us, struggling, winning, losing, trying, being human.

Thank you all who have contributed to my road, early as I am on it.

Thinking of all of you struggling and hoping you find some peace.

Good for you!! I found all kinds of things that "clicked" when I read them, heard about them and got to know more, etc.

Five days is great, and it's good to see you on "recovery road"

Five days is awesome and the more time you throw at it, the easier it gets.
