Celebrating 1 YEAR sober today!
It's been a year since I took my last drink.
I have drawn strength from educating myself about this disease, doing a thorough self-inventory, and most of all listening to my true inner voice. The most rewarding aspect has been the realization that I can trust myself. It's like having a new best friend.
Thanks to everyone here at SR. You guys have all been major contributors to this accomplishment and your support has meant so much to me! Thank you for letting me share my thoughts, opinions, and questions with you as we take this journey together!
