I'm back blah. Day 3.
I'm back blah. Day 3.
I keep getting two to three weeks..after having over 60. I'm glad it was a shorter "binge" than I usually go thru because the withdrawals weren't as bad but I missed out on some important family oriented stuff yesterday and know I have people disgusted with me. Sometimes I think a complete change in location to really change but parts of me think It could get worse being away from family. Anyone ever move for a new start to actually ever have success? Just needed to vent. Thanks
Welcome back
for me the geographic change never worked - all my problems came with me - and if I left old friends behind I soon found, or sought out, new ones with the same kinds of problems...
It may be different for others but I really needed to work on changing me, rather than my location, y'know?

I think Geographicals never work, we take ourselves with us. My problem was between me and alcohol- no matter where I was- beer in london, sambuca in italy and drambuie and wine and anything else I could find in Australia.
thankfully there is a way out. You have had some time before, what led you back to drinking?
