This morning I woke up and when I went downstairs I noticed a red ring stain on the kitchen counter. It looked just like one of my wine glass stains I would leave everywhere around the house! I couldn't imagine where it came from, and was so worried my husband would think I snuck some wine.

I then saw the mug in the sink and realized it was from the raspberry tea he had the night before:-). Phew....:-)

Those red wine ring stains! I used to get them everywhere and they made my flat so dirty because I wasn't motivated to clean up when I was on a drinking binge. So glad to be sober today.

Great post. It reminds me of all the little things I used to hide around the house. The quantity of bottles, the bottle caps, the glasses, the paraphernalia, not to mention the substances used in said paraphernalia. It's complicated! All that brain space can now get devoted to something worth while.
