3 weeks today
It has now been 3 weeks since my last drink and things are going well. Yesterday I went to look at a couple of flats that are for rent. I am going to call today and confirm that I would like to move into one of them. As mentioned in my first post we have been told to leave where we are currently living by the buildings resident association, due to my behavior resulting from my binge. My relationship with my partner is much better, and work stress is manageable. I believe that a change has occurred deep down inside with regards to my attitude/relationship with alcohol.
The thought of drinking has occasionally arisen, but I recoil from such thoughts now, rather than nurture them as I used to do.
