I passed a test today...
I passed another Contractor's test today, for a new state we will be working in. I've taken and passed many before...but this was the first one I've taken SOBER!!!!!!
I am not celebrating the passing grade, because I have passed many of these tests before, and I have always been hung-over, or half-drunk and hung-over. That was my way of life. I am celebrating because I was sober the night before, I was Sober when I took the test, and I am SOBER NOW!!!!!
It is a major milestone for me. I want to thank this website and everyone that contributes. I want to thank my friends and support group at the AA meetings I attend. I especially want to thank the AVRT program, for giving me the tools to recognize the B/S from the genuine, in others and especially in myself.
And finally I want to thank my wife and my Savior Jesus Christ, for never giving up on me.
Now...on with my never-ending adventure...Life in SOBRIETY!!!

Congrats for passing your test SOBER rdb 
Something to be really proud of and very inspiring for a lot of us here. I think a lot of the fear that stems from quitting drinking/drugs is that we sometimes believe we won't be able to do the same things we used to be able to do. You've definitely proved this to be wrong,

1st of all, good to hear a Georgian is succeeding in recovery! & u're a believer too?? AMEN bro. That's how you do it; work the program & ALWAYS give Him the credit for keeping u sober another day.
