First Outpatient Rehab Session Today
First Outpatient Rehab Session Today
This is my first thread, but I am feeling proud of myself so I felt the urge to share this little story.
I don't know how many times I tried to quit drinking on my own (usually it was "I'll really moderate my drinking"). After several instances of this story playing out over and over again, I finally realized that it is true that most people can't quit on their own. So this time I finally signed up for intensive outpatient rehab, and I had my first session today. I feel like this is going to help a lot. I left the first meeting feeling like a new person, like I am really ready for sobriety this time.
Good luck to everyone out there.

What great news. You do have to be ready, and it sounds like you are this time. After awhile we get tired of going back to square one over & over - you did the right thing by signing up for rehab.
