Interesting things....
Im having breakfast for dinner tonight. I am posted up by the stove watching the potatoes cook. My cooking skills and ideas were always interrupted by the fact that i had Wine to drink. There was never anything more important than that first glass. Seriously, wine drinking takes up a lot of time. There is the thinking about it, the feeling it the next day, the buying it, the planning events around it, the worries about it, the regrets with it, the "I dont know who that person was last night", apologies about it, the cost of it, the "Is there alcohol there" questions about it, the "You are fired", being sent home over it........ This drinking business was a full time horrendous job. What I grew very accustomed to was the "When I am ever going to stop this madness and do something about my drinking."
I am free now. I no longer live in that cycle of despair. I must work hard to stay away from the clutches of that bottle. I am doing a mighty fine job today. My new employer put me into management.
These potatoes are going to be AMAZING!!!!

Awesome to read! Whenever I think I don't have time for something healthy in my life I always remember how much time I had for alcohol. Man did it take up every ounce of me even when I wasn't drinking the planning like you said. Enjoy your brinner!
