I had quite an eventful sober weekend this week. It was topped off w/ some SNL in which one of the cast members was consuming a pint of beer. I'm not going to lie and say it didn't give me a craving, it did. The realization sat in that I was done drinking and that I'm not going to lie to myself and say I won' t miss it. I have the most productive weekend I could remember in 10 years.

Anyway, to validate my stance of being done with that toxin, a couple of my friends are fighting now because of drinking relating issues from the weekend. I woke up with a phone call from a friend who needed a ride etc.

I am, indeed, finished. 1 week down.

I really appreciate the support so far.

Getting the first and the next following weekends behind you will make things so much easier. My witching hour(s) is Friday evening; once that is behind me I breathe a little easier (and so does everyone else in my life hahahah!) for the rest of the weekend. Keep up the good work!
