Just read one of my childhood sporting heroes is in intensive care due to organ failure from alcohol withdrawel.. He got flown out from England to a rehab in Arizona a couple of days back. I hope he pulls through and finnally beats his demons...

I was just reading this. So sad Too poorly even for detox.

His speaker event was in my home town so we had a lot of it in the local news too. I was quite proud to read that nobody had a bad word to say about him. All were just heartbroken at the sight and blaming his management for forcing him out there.

I really hope he can do it this time. Such a shame.
