Since I am new here, I'm not sure how to begin. I have never frequented a chat room and don't know what to expect. I happened upon this site during an online search for a metting location in my town.

this is the forums - it's a little less real time than chat
the chat room portal is on the right hand side of the big blue toolbar that runs across the top of the page - hit the downward arrow next to chat room then 'enter chat room'
regardless of where you hang out - welcome to SR!
