help
I'm almost 5 months sober, and I'm debating whether to go to a meeting at lunch or to a bar.
This sucks. Sorry.
At least I'm here telling on myself, ahead of time.
God grant me the serenity, please....

Please go to a meeting. I relapsed at about 5 months and it was horrible. You'll feel so much better about yourself if you don't give in. If you go to a meeting and share honestly, I'm SURE you'll help someone enormously.

I hope you find a meeting, dont even have to share but sometimes the serenity of being around the (as we call them in my group) "Perfectly Broken People" you can felt heard without saying a word.

Keep saying the serenity prayer!
My one and two month coins have the prayer on them, but it is illegible. I can read the prayer on my three month coin. So to me, that says that early in recovery, I memorized the serenity prayer but really didn't need it. Now, I go back and read it because I actually need it.

got a little something to eat, went to the meeting and received a much needed attitude adjustment.
Cunning, baffling, indeed.
Thanks for your support, I'm feeling better, back on the beam.
