Should I just start posting in my "section" alcoholism. I mean I am still green with only a month under my belt. But...I am not feeling like I did the first week?
You can post wherever you want.
In the beginning, I posted in the Newcomer's section to learn and get support...
...Two years sober, I continue to post to provide information and lend support.

Some of the "old timers" in my AA group say that they will always be "new comers". They say that it keeps them from forgetting what is was like in early sobriety. It is good to let go of the pain, but they say that it is bad to forget it, because it can "lead you right back out the door" if you do. I am extremely early in sobriety too, but I hope to always keep a little of that new comer feeling.
SPREAD YOUR WINGS!!!!!!!!!! I think I was back a couple of days and I was in Alcoholics, Women's and even LGBT section... and I'm straight (very big supporter though )
