Hi guys,

Just when you get into a nice little routine and all seems in order life has a nasty way of testing your character,

Today my mum was taken into hospital with a heart attack, I got the dreaded call when at work and made my way up to the hospital, it was a major shock as she is only 57 and is very fit and active.

Usually this would immediately turn me to the booze, even the slightest excuse would be enough in the bad days.

The little demon inside of me did make a slight appearance but so far I've managed to keep him at bay. The situation would be worse 10 fold for my mum if you threw a drunk son visiting the hospital into the mix.

Bruno - sorry about your Mom she and you are in my thoughts. Good for you though - keep remembering that your mom needs sober support now and you'll do fine.
