it's going to be nice tonight to enjoy the fireworks along the philadelphia waterfront without anesthesia and the good company of my wife.

Yep, lay off that anaesthesia! We've had our cracker night and sleeping was tough, what with the noise, but better awake sober than lost in a drunken stupor.
