I crashed and burned on Christmas, it was UGLY!! Went to my first AA meeting last night.. Nothing but wonderful people there.. Just like SR! Dealing with withdraws today but ill be in the meeting again tonight! I'm going to beat this thing what ever it takes... Hope everyone is having a good day! Thanks for listening! D

Thanks for sharing your experience Dave. I'm not going to lie, I wasn't a fan of AA after one meeting .... or even after 10! It took me a while to get it or 'pull my head out' ..... saved my life too!

Personally, I really like AA. I used to think it was a cult. Haha. Not a cult, just some cool ex- drunks trying to find ways to stay sober. Some really work hard and they are the ones to follow. I have a sponsor now just kind of stuck on steps but I keep going back. I hope you will too!
