Grateful this Christmas
Hi all. For those of you that celebrate it, Merry Christmas.
I woke up today, having had another drinking dream. They seem so real. I was drinking a pint of Vanilla Porter this time.
When I awoke, it took 5 minutes again for me to recognize it wasnt real. Im still sober and so thankful.
This is my first sober Christmas in over 20 years.
Im having fun eating, playing with children and the train sets, drinking good coffee and tea, praying, meditating, and enjoying my family and friends.
It all starts with sobriety now. No regrets.
