Welcome to the family John!

Congratulations on your decision. I don't know why it's so hard for us to let go of it, when we know in our heart it's stealing our happiness & enthusiasm for life. You can do this John. Happy to have you here - you'll have excellent help and support.

I noticed when I quit this time that the withdrawal symptoms were stronger which scared the hell out of me. The progressiveness is what frightens me the most. I can damage a case of beer in almost a day which would have taken me all week a few years ago. I am afraid that once beer doesn't get me to that pleasure zone what will I progress too?

Right now I am progressing to my next sugar free Popsicle on a sober night. Thanks for the kind words everyone...much appreciated.
