Gosh this is scary - my first post
I son't want to be judged but I really want to find people with like minds that are agnostic or athiest and have problems with alcohol. Oh - and are terrible spellers...hee hee. Maybe this I should be talking to an administrator?
Welcome to SR Alteredstate
I like to think I'm an okay speller but I am atheist Not even a higher power could change that for me. Are you looking for a secular approach to recovery? If so you might want to check out the secular connections forum here x

Hi and welcome alteredstate
I promise you this is a very welcoming community
If you want a specifically secular forum, you're in luck:
I can recommend our Secular Connections forum if you think you may benefit from a non 12 step approach.

Your in a great place and welcome..
I drank and drugged for decades.. but alcohol was there at the beginning and the end. It tried to kill me. I also do not believe in a religion...
And see your in San Antonio.. Great city.. I sort of went to college in San Marcos..(enrolled just never went ). And ran away when the fed's were after me.. That was 20 years ago. I didnt learn.. Till I found this site and AA in June of 2011..

Welcome to SR
Another atheist with an alcohol problem here - no spelling issues that I know of, though.
This is a great place for support whatever your religious views or beliefs.
Wishing you all the best.
